Jessie Pavelka fitness tips

For the past 10 years, Jessie has been dedicated to helping others to develop practical solutions to lose weight, live well and thrive through exercise and nutrition. In 2014, Jessie will be creating a series of fitness programmes, in collaboration with Matt’s nutrition expertise, to help the nation lead a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Protein plays a big role in both Matt and Jessie’s work, and that’s why they’re working with Quorn this year. Products like Quorn Mince, Quorn Pieces and Quorn Sausages are a Healthy Protein Source* because they are low in saturated fat  so they’re a great solution for anyone looking to lead a healthier, or  active lifestyle.

Keep an eye out on Quorn.co.uk and in the press for a host of news, fitness and nutrition facts and programmes over the next 12 months from Matt and Jessie.

"This year, I'm proud to be working with Quorn - the UK's number one meat-free brand. I'll be collaborating with them to show how people can live a healthier lifestyle by making small changes to what they eat and what they do to stay fit and active.

Products like Quorn Mince, Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces or Quorn Sausages are great solutions for anyone looking to eat healthier, watching their weight or for those wanting to enhance their work-out routines through optimum nutrition. They are a healthy protein* source which means they have a high level of protein but unlike some other protein sources, are low in saturated fat.

I have always been dedicated to helping people live well and thrive through exercise, so incorporating a healthy protein such as Quorn Mince, Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces or Quorn Sausages into a diet is a key piece of advice I always give.

Because protein sources such as Quorn Mince are low in saturated fat, they can be vital in helping our bodies to build lean muscle mass, optimising our metabolic rate, which in turn breaks down fat, and also helps to give us energy without making us feel sluggish. Quorn products are easy to incorporate into your diet, because they allow you to continue to make all your favourite meals but in a healthier way.

Keep a look out for my fitness and exercise tips that I'll be sharing with you over the next year. Whether you're a fitness-phobe or an elite athlete, there'll be suggestions on how to optimise your training programme through nutrition and exercise. I've teamed up with Sports Nutritionist Matt Lovell to create a series of programmes that pair nutrition advice with fitness tips to give you the best advice available, whatever your ability.

As a health and wellbeing adviser, I am always keen to be involved in projects which promote a healthy lifestyle and I'm looking forward to working with Quorn in 2014."
