Spicy Paprika Chicken

This was the first meal I ever served my children using Quorn. I wanted to make it really tasty and surprise them by how interesting it could be. I will admit to some resistance from my 11 year old, who it would appear, has eaten something similar for school dinners. Well, she was amazed and had to come clean that this dish was nothing like her school dinners. In fact, both her and our 7 year old asked for more! Even I was surprised.

I couldn’t believe how quick and easy this dish was to prepare. I love the fact that the Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces can be cooked from frozen – How easy is that? I served Quorn with a Pilaf Rice.


  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 x 300g Frozen Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • ½ tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • A handful of peas
  • Pilaf Rice to serve


  • Toss the Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces and the spices in a bowl
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and add the Meat Free Chicken Pieces
  • Cook through for 10 minutes until the pieces are hot all the way through
  • Serve immediately with freshly boiled Pilaf Rice and peas
