July’s Top Quorn Blogger Mentions!

July’s Top Quorn Blogger Mentions!

We’ve been inspired again this month by how you all have been cooking up our products – from classic hearty meals to refined dishes. We wanted to share our favourite coverage of Quorn products this month with you and hope to inspire you to get cooking as well!

We love food from across the world and Daniela from foodrecipeshq showed us her love of Italian cuisine in July with a recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese using Quorn Mince which is high in protein and low in saturated fat. Daniela blew us away with her beautiful photography and the recipe sounds delicious! After a jaunt in Italy we’ve moving closer to home with a Yorkshire classic - toad in the hole, which despite sounding rather odd, is a simple dish made up of sausages in a Yorkshire pudding batter usually served with gravy. Sammie of oneblueonepink showed us how to create an alternative to the meat-version and used our Chef’s Selection Best of British Sausages for a healthier option.  We really liked how Sammie incorporated sliced onions into her recipe for a flavourful version of this well-loved dish.

Britain’s favourite dish is curry and our Chicken Style Pieces can be used with a variety of eastern flavours to create flavourful and unique dishes. At our recent Quorn Cookery Class bloggers were invited to try their hand at a number of recipes including a delicious Red Thai curry which incorporates traditional flavours such as cardamom, ginger and chilli topped with fragrant lime leaves. LeBinh of the thefoodconnoisseur describes her experience on her blog.

Finishing off this month’s features is Alison from Dragonsandfairydust who has inspired us with an Asparagus and Pea Risotto made with our chicken style pieces. This dish is perfect for summer with its fresh, healthy ingredients with a sprinkling of parmesan and fresh basil offering a combination of flavours and textures. We love how colourful it looks on the plate!

We look forward to seeing what culinary magic will be produced in August, keep on cooking!
