This September we welcome the British Food Fortnight, which celebrates all of our British favourites from bangers and mash to a full English breakfast! So in light of this food festival, which puts the spotlight on all of our British delights, we thought that our Quorn range will help inspire a mouth-watering British variation, full of succulent and nutritious recipes.

Our large selection of meat free products can inspire the imagination and tingle your taste buds as you celebrate this fortnight. So, as a motivation to get involved with British food Fortnight, we thought that we would share our top seven recipes, perfect for getting you started in the first week!

Number one on our list is the classic Sunday roast, ideal to make with our Chef’s Selection Roast perfectly served with crispy roast potatoes, a selection of freshly steamed root vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and gravy.

Number two is the traditional dinner favourite: a hearty casserole perfect for whipping up with our delicious herb and black pepper Quorn Cumberland Sausages cooked with freshly grown British potatoes, carrots and leeks!

Number three half way through the week is the homely cottage pie easily prepared with Quorn Mince and a great source of healthy protein* because it’s low in saturated fat!

Number four: had a long day at work but enthusiastic to keep things British? Our Toad in the Hole ready meal is perfect for a quick dinner, simply serve with it with rich onion gravy for a wonderfully warming meal.

Number five is the tempting afternoon snacks and delights: Quorn Pork Pies and Sausage Rolls, made with our succulent meat free sausage and pork rolled up in flaky filling pastry, this is one snack that won't let you down!

Number six is the weekend pub grub favourite: Burger and chips with a cool pint to welcome the weekend. Made with deliciously juicy Quorn Meat Free Burgers, served in a sesame bun with lettuce, red onion and your favourite tasty relish. What’s not to like?

Number seven: fry up day! Traditional full English breakfast with our Quorn Meat Free Bacon Rashers and our scrummy herb and black pepper Quorn Cumberland Sausages, served with hash browns and baked beans perfect for an end of the week brunch!
