I love the variety of my job and the ability to be able to manage my own workload and see parts of the world I otherwise might not.

What is your role/background at Quorn?

I work in Marketing at Quorn, starting on a graduate scheme as an Assistant Brand Manager for the Quorn brand in the UK. This involved researching the market and working with other departments to develop new products which is really exciting in such a fast-paced industry. In 2014 I was promoted to European Brand Manager which means I am currently responsible for the brand management and communications of Quorn in European Markets.

What are your responsibilities?

My job is very fast-paced but very rewarding as I get involved in the development of marketing plans for European countries. This gives me the opportunity to travel and work closely with talented teams and agencies across the continent. I also get to monitor market and food trends, carry out consumer research and organise PR events and press releases. I might be working on websites and translations one day and then social media and food shows the next.

What do you like most about working for Quorn?

I love the variety of my job and the ability to be able to manage my own workload and see parts of the world I otherwise might not. Obviously working in a food company has its own perks! It’s very satisfying to see a brand you truly believe in grow and expand around the world, especially one that puts sustainability first.

What makes Quorn a great place to work?

If I could sum it up in three words it would be fast-paced, challenging and rewarding. Quorn is a unique in that it is one of the largest food brands in the UK yet some of our sites are based in some picturesque locations, the North Yorkshire countryside and edge of the Norfolk Fens. It’s a very exciting time to be working for a company like Quorn where trends such as obesity sustainable food supply and reducing meat consumption are becoming more and more important.

The company supported my personal development by funding my Marketing Diploma Course from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and I have been given an opportunity to grow, lead and excel from day one.
