Our Fermenter towers are a long-standing feature of the Teesside sky-line and significant investment is planned to build further fermentation capacity, starting imminently

The Role

This on-going growth and expansion has led to the creation of an exciting new role. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead on the expansion of our Fermentation plant in Billingham.

The successful candidate will lead capital projects from initial proposal to project sanction while also providing project management support for fermenter development / research projects. Demonstrable and significant Project Management experience is essential.

You are highly likely to be a Chartered Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with significant experience of fermentation or be able to demonstrate the equivalent in another relevant process industry, such as brewing, beverage, pharmaceutical or healthcare.

You will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical competence within your own discipline, complimented by an appreciation of other Engineering disciplines. You will also demonstrate a real passion and interest in Technical developments within the field.

You will build and maintain both internal and external relationships that enable you to keep up to date with the most effective industry solutions available to Quorn whilst integrating projects into other departmental work flows.
