Key activities:

To translate all Master Production Schedule requirements into effective and efficient production schedules at Belasis in order to meet Quorn Foods customer service needs

  • Success in this role will require good interpersonal and communication skills (dealing with a wide range of business functions), analytical thinking (processing data into clear plans) and as with most planning roles being flexible to change. With our business being 24/7 there will be some associated ‘out of hours’ contact with the production teams.
  • Identify opportunities in the review of the planning rules and manufacturing activities for all production lines at Belasis to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacture of product in order to meet Quorn Foods customer service requirements and stock policies.
  • Daily planning of paste supply from Belasis into our customers and third party manufacturers.
  • Liaise with Factory Manager, Operations Manager, Shift Managers, Engineering Manager, Quality and Process Managers and other personnel in order to maintain effective control over the schedules and resources to effectively deliver the production plan.
  • Knowledge of production planning processes and associated computer systems.

The successful applicant will:

  • Knowledge of production planning processes and associated computer systems.
  • Have experience of working in FMCG
  • Have proven experience with electronic databases and Microsoft packages
  • Demonstrate a drive to succeed and develop
