Caught Snackin's Quorn Sausage Stuffing Xmas Tree

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Quorn Brilliant Bangers
  • 100g cooked diced onion, cooled
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, finely diced
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 80g plant based grated cheese
  • 2 x 320g puff pastry sheets
  • 100g cranberry sauce, extra to serve
  • Plant based milk, to glaze
  • Salt, to season

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan.
  2. Break the Quorn Brilliant Bangers into pieces and add them to a large bowl. Add the onion, sage, garlic, breadcrumbs, grated vegan cheese and season with salt. Mix it all together until well combined.
  3. Roll 1 piece of the puff pastry onto a sheet of parchment paper and spread with cranberry sauce.
  4. Top with the Quorn stuffing mixture and lay the last sheet of puff pastry on top.
  5. With a sharp knife, cut the pastry into a Christmas tree shape. Thick branches are cut into the sides of the triangle from both sides, all the way from the trunk to the tip. Cut stars out of the off cuts and place one on top of the tree.
  6. Twist each branch until the whole tree is completed before transferring to a baking sheet.
  7. Glaze the entire sheet with plant based milk and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until beautifully golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to slightly cool. Serve with extra cranberry sauce and enjoy!
