Sausage, Cheese and Caramelised Onion Chutney Pastry Turnovers

These picnic perfect Sausage, Cheese and Caramelised Onion Chutney Turnovers are the ultimate summer party food. They’re a delicious veggie treat packed with Quorn Cocktail Sausages, melted cheese and tangy caramelised onion chutney. Enjoy these vegetarian turnovers either hot or cold!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Quorn Cocktail Sausages
  • 1 sheet ready-to-roll puff pastry
  • 100g cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp caramelised onion chutney
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Method

  1. Roll out your puff pastry and cut in to equal squares.
  2. Spread caramelised onion chutney diagonally onto the pastry, add your Quorn Cocktail Sausages, then sprinkle cheddar on top.
  3. Brush the corners of the pastry with a beaten egg. Fold the corners of the pastry to cover the cocktail sausage. Brush the rest with remaining egg wash over the pastry and sprinkle with some sesame seeds.
  4. Bake in the air fryer or oven for 10 mins 180c until golden, crispy and delicious.
  5. Enjoy either hot or cold!
