Ingredients

  • 12 slices of bread, buttered, 4 pieces on both sides.
  • English mustard
  • 1 pack Quorn Yorkshire Ham Style Slices
  • Emmental Cheese Slices
  • Mozzarella Cheese Slices
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Whisk your eggs in a bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Butter each slice of bread, with 4 of the pieces being buttered on both sides.
  3. Grab 4 of the slices of bread (that have been buttered on one side) and spread the mustard onto the buttered side.
  4. Add the Quorn Yorkshire Ham Style Slices and place the piece of bread that’s buttered both sides on top. Then, layer up the cheese and place the last piece of bread on top butter side down.
  5. Trim the crusts off and then slice each sandwich into 2 triangles.
  6. Heat a cast iron or non-stick pan on to medium high and add the butter, leave to melt. Once the butter is foamy and melted, dip your sandwich triangles into your seasoned egg wash ensuring all sides are completely covered and add the pan.
  7. Cook gently turning every so often until your sandwich is golden and crisp on the outside and melty in the middle.
