Veggie Sticky Sesame Chicken with Quorn Fillet Pieces
You won’t be able to resist this quick and easy Vegetarian Sticky Sesame Chicken served with fluffy rice. Made with chicken-like Quorn Chicken Fillet Pieces, this dish will rival your takeaway favourites.
Ready in just 20 minutes, simply season and fry the Quorn Chicken Fillet Pieces before bringing together soy sauce, ketchup and honey to form a sweet sticky sauce.
Pile the coated Quorn Chicken Fillet Pieces onto fluffy rice and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds and spring onions for the perfect midweek meal or fakeaway night.

Ingredients
- 2 packs of Quorn Vegetarian Chicken Fillet Pieces
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp fresh garlic
- Sesame seeds
- 3 spring onions, sliced
For the sauce:
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chilli oil (optional)
Method
- Season your Quorn Chicken Fillet Pieces in a bowl with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and white pepper.
- In a pan at a medium heat, pan-fry the seasoned Quorn Chicken Fillet Pieces with half the sesame oil and 1 tsp of fresh garlic until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Add all your sauce ingredients into the pan and simmer until it thickens, after this add your Quorn Chicken Fillet Pieces back into the pan for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Add sesame seeds and spring onions to garnish and serve with boiled white rice and enjoy!

This is LOVELY! I made it with the Quorn nuggets, because that's what I had. I simply coat them in the seasoning suggested for the fillet pieces, cook them in the oven as directed on the pack, and it works really well. The whole family love it and it's become a favourite. I serve it with rice cooked with red pepper and red onion. Tastes way better than takeaway!
