Quorn Meat Free Pieces Curry

My favourite go-to Quorn recipe these days is my easy chicken curry recipe with Quorn Meat Free Pieces.

It's a recipe that was given to me by my friend Julia, and I think previously adapted from one of Canadian chef Vijâ's recipes.

I've further adapted it to go perfect with 1 package of Quorn Meat Free Pieces. The beauty of this recipe is that you can almost use whatever you have in the kitchen and the recipe is very forgiving if you add a bit extra or take something out. My kinda cooking!


  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion (I used 4 small ones)
  • 1 tbs of cinnamon (or 3 sticks if you have them!)
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped garlic (I used 1 tbsp of powdered garlic as didn’t have anything else on hand)
  • 2 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 package of Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup of chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
